1. Information We Collect

We collect information needed to operate a hosted PDF translation workflow:

  • Account data: name, email address, password hash, and authentication tokens.
  • Billing data: credit purchase history, Stripe customer IDs, invoices, and tax info provided during checkout.
  • Usage data: uploaded file names, languages selected, translation engine choices, page counts, status logs, and support tickets.
  • File content: the PDFs you upload plus generated translation variants stored temporarily to deliver downloads.

2. How We Use Your Information

We process your information to:

  • Authenticate users, manage credits, and provide translation results.
  • Operate storage buckets and queue workers that render mono/dual PDFs.
  • Detect fraud, enforce rate limits, and maintain system security.
  • Provide support communications and product updates if you opt in.
  • Analyze aggregate metrics (success rates, latency) to improve the platform.

3. Document Handling & Retention

Source PDFs and generated outputs are stored in encrypted object storage with automatic deletion after the retention window described on the dashboard (typically 7 days). You may delete a task at any time from the dashboard, which immediately removes associated objects from our buckets. We do not use your documents to train language models.

4. Sharing & Third Parties

We share data only with service providers that enable the product: infrastructure hosts (Cloudflare Workers, R2), payment processors (Stripe), logging/monitoring services, and machine translation APIs you select (e.g., Google, OpenAI, DeepL, etc.). These vendors may process your data solely to provide contracted functionality and are bound by their own privacy commitments. We do not sell personal information.

5. Security

We employ encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, API-level authentication, and regular key rotation to protect your information. No security method is infallible; please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized activity on your account.

6. Your Choices

You can access or update account information from the dashboard. To delete your account or request removal of stored data, contact us using the email below. We may retain certain records as required by law or legitimate business purposes (e.g., tax, fraud prevention).
